The aims of the Leadership and Development Standing Committee are to:
- identify interested and qualified candidates for the President-elect and Elected Trustees
- nominate two candidates for election as President-elect, either from nominations received or from nominations by the Committee
- ensure that the Board composition reflects the international and multicultural diversity of the members, supports and develops junior candidates, and enables a culture of open selection.
The Chairman of the Standing Committee is the Immediate Past-President.
