Cephalalgia seeks a new Editor-in-Chief
In recent years Cephalalgia has continued to develop and raise its profile due to the commitment and professionalism of the previous Editors-in-Chief. The Journal has a 2021 ranking of 37/212 (Clinical Neurology) and 59/274 (Neuroscience) journals, and an impact factor of 6.075.
In 2023 Cephalalgia will transition from a subscription journal to an open-access publication. Professor Arne May, current Editor-in-Chief, is due to end his term of office in December 2023, but has kindly offered to remain as Editor-in-Chief for an additional period of 1 year in 2024. IHS is now inviting applications for the position of a new Editor-in-Chief.
The new Editor-in-Chief will officially assume responsibility on 1 January 2025, but will be invited to work alongside Professor May during 2024 to continue the successful transition to the new editorial operation with the open-access publication.
All IHS members who fulfil the eligibility criteria are invited to apply for this vacancy.
Applications received will be short listed and the selected candidates will be interviewed by a Journal Editorship Working Group nominated by the IHS Leadership, Development and Nominations Committee.
