Biography

Irma Savitri Madjid MD PhD (Candidate), is a specialist in Neurology.

She is a neurologist and lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, where she also serves as a tutor for clinical epidemiology and evidence-based medicine. She completed her Medical Doctor degree at Universitas Indonesia and earned her Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) from Monash University in Australia. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Universitas Indonesia, collaborating with Henrik Winther Schytz, an associate professor at the Danish Headache Center, University of Copenhagen’s Rigshospitalet Glostrup.

In her clinical role, she works in the Neurooncology, Pain, and Headache Division at Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Referral Hospital. Her research primarily focuses on headache management and primary care, with a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for patients with neurological conditions.

She is an active member of the Headache Working Group of the Indonesian Neurological Association, Jakarta Chapter, and holds the position of National Vice Secretary for the Neurooncology Working Group within the association. Furthermore, she partici pates in the European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO) mentorship program, where she contributes to the development of clinical practice guidelines for brain tumor management and works to integrate these guidelines within multidisciplinary tumor board meetings.

She is deeply committed to educating undergraduate students, residents, neurology fellows, and international students, driven by her passion for promoting excellence in headache management and neurological clinical practice guidelines. She is involved in numerous interprofessional collaborations and she shares her expertise by fostering growth among colleagues both locally and globally.
