Biography

Dr Jessica Briscoe is a UK General Practitioner with an extended role in Headache and Facial Pain. She has worked in headache medicine since 2018, initially at the National Migraine Centre, where she co-developed and co-presented the Heads Up podcast, before working within a tertiary NHS Headache and Facial Pain service.

Jessica has presented nationally and internationally on headache disorders, multidisciplinary care, and the role of the primary care physician within the headache MDT. She has a particular interest in improving headache education and strengthening collaboration between primary care and specialist services.

Alongside her clinical work, she has contributed to migraine advocacy and public education through appearances on BBC Victoria Derbyshire, Woman’s Hour, and documentary work focused on migraine and chronic headache disorders.

She currently works in Executive Health and Preventive Medicine at  Mayo Clinic London and is co-chair of the IHS General Practitioner Special Interest Group.
