Adjunct and Corporate membership information
Adjunct and Corporate membership is offered to those who are not eligible to become a Standard member, but who are otherwise professionally engaged or interested in headache, including professional lay people working in headache, e.g. patient organisation representatives, headache writers, headache advocacy people, etc., and to people working for pharmaceutical or device companies in the neurology field, either full or part-time.
the membership benefits are the same as for Standard members, however, Adjunct/Corporate members are not UK Company Law members, do not have voting rights and are not eligible to stand for election to the Board of Trustees.
The fees for Adjunct/Corporate membership will match the fees for Standard membership:
– Standard member GBP 110
The IHS membership year runs from January to December and all memberships are backdated to January.

As part of the application process, you will be asked to submit your CV to the IHS administrative office.

Standard membership
Available to those who are medical and healthcare practitioners (including such practitioners actively involved in scientific research) who are professionally engaged or involved in the study of headache disorders and have university or equivalent qualifications in any relevant field including medicine, surgery, psychiatry, medical or biomedical science, psychology, nursing, physical therapy, or pharmacy.
Associate membership
Available to those who fulfil the standard membership eligibility criteria and work in less developed countries as defined by the World Health Organization Hinari initiative. Associate membership is free of charge and members enjoy the same benefits as Online-only Adjunct members.
