Following publication of acute treatment recommendations, IHS now follows up with recommendations for preventive pharmacological treatment of migraine.

As with the acute recommendations, the preventive options are categorized into optimal and essential, in order to provide treatment options for all possible settings, including those with limited access to migraine medications.

The Guidelines are published in Cephalalgia and free to access.
