The role of international scientific societies today

An Editorial authored by IHS President, Professor Cristina Tassorelli, and Cephalalgia Editor-in-Chief, Professor Arne May, has been published in Cephalalgia outlining the role of international scientific societies, such as IHS, in the world today.

With the changes in the geopolitical landscape that the world is facing, there has been much reaction by scientific societies from all regions of the world, including IHS.

The consistent response is the stigmatisation of national aggression and, at the same time, the acknowledgment of personal and professional ties to colleagues, who, more often than not, have become friends regardless of boundaries and political landscapes.
