Biography

Dr. Muñoz earned his MD from Universidad Surcolombiana in Neiva, Colombia, in 1998. He completed his residency in Neurology at the Hospital de San José in Bogotá, Colombia, in 2006. In 2007, he joined the neurology staff at Hospital Méderi, where he continues to serve and teach as a professor of medicine. Dr. Muñoz has actively contributed to the academic community, including involvement with the Colombian Association of Neurology and its Headache Committee, where he served as national coordinator from 2016 to 2018. He also holds a degree in Epidemiology from Universidad del Rosario.

Dr Muñoz plays the electric guitar in music band which enjoys pop, rock and jazz. He is also an amateur runner and MTB cyclist.
