2nd Excellence in Neuroinflammation Meeting

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to bring to your attention the upcoming 2nd Excellence in Neuroinflammation Meeting, which will take place on December 12, 2026, at the Abbazia di Praglia (Padua, Italy).

Under the scientific direction of Vincenzo Di Marzo, this high-level international meeting will focus on Neuroinflammation in  Chronic Pain and Migraine. The scientific program features world-renowned pioneers, including Anthony Dickenson, Marco Loggia, Innocenzo Rainero, and will host the official ceremony for the Excellence in Neuroinflammation Award 2026.

This year’s award goes to Ludovica Brusaferri in recognition of her outstanding publication, “Trigeminal nerve microstructure is linked with neuroinflammation and brainstem activity in migraine” (Brain, 2025), which formed the basis of her successful award application.

Supporting the Next Generation of Researchers (Under 40):

In alignment with our Foundation’s mission to support young scientists, registration is entirely free for participants under 40.

Additionally, the first 40 young researchers to register will be awarded one complimentary night of accommodation (available on a first-come, first-served basis).
