In remembrance

Throughout our careers, we are each fortunate to know personally – or perhaps through papers and lectures only – people who dedicate themselves to improving the lives of those with headache. While we hope to honour each person during their lifetime for their wisdom, caring, and kindness, sometimes it is only at their passing that we stop and fully consider their lives, their accomplishments, and their impact on us.

When we lose a valued member of our headache community, I invite you to take the time to share memories of that colleague as a doctor, scientist, and human being. We will acknowledge our colleagues’ passing in our newsletters and publish your tributes on our website. We can honour them best by keeping alive the goodness they brought to our world.
